Singer, Actress, Producer, Director
Philippa first got involved when she was dragged in to help with costumes for Seussical, which led to her mangement of the production, costumes & set for The Wizard of Oz. From here on, her sterling efforts lead to her directing A Midsummer Night’s Dream and later, A Christmas Carol. Her most revered role was holding the doors in James & the Giant Peach which she has highlighted as one of her favourite moments! Aside from management and production, Phillipa has also recently become more involved on stage too and sang a solo from Guys ‘n’ Dolls at our 60th Anniversary Concert.
Philippa has just been cast as the evil step-mum in Cinderella (a role her kids tell her she will be a natural at…!) and is involved in many other productions outside of BMTC too as well studying for new qualifications and her work at Inspiritave Arts.
“I really love improvised theatre, especially Playback, largely because I have a rubbish memory and scripts scare me!”
