Half a Sixpence (1992)

The musical follows Arthur Kipps, an orphan and draper’s assistant in Folkestone, Kent, who inherits a fortune from an estranged grandfather and becomes a part of high society. He meets Helen Walsingham and her family, who try to restore their fortune. Kipps’s love for both women is tested when he loses his money due to fraudulent behaviour.
